For that reason, it is often preferred to use a computer that has a certain mobility with it, so that a change in the laboratory or to the customer’s production facility is not an issue. If you additionally rely on the computing power of your device, a mobile workstation might just be the way to go, as it combines principle mobility with raw power. Obviously, these notebooks are not designed for the daily usage in the public transportation, but especially if frequent large scale, demanding operations are to be computed with your laptop, mobile workstations are the better choice.
The Lenovo ThinkPad P17 is one of the youngest members of a renowned brand and series, the ThinkPad P-series. These computers are highly reliable, performant and sturdy and only use perfectly matching components of the top of the shelve. As a processor the P17 Gen 2 uses an Intel Mobile Xeon 6-Core W-11855M of the 11th generation with an adaptive frequency up to 4.90 GHz. The notebook currently uses 64 GB of RAM memory that can later be upgraded to a maximum of 128 GB if necessary. The graphic card is an Nvidia RTX A5000 with 16 GB GDDR6.
