The Yoga series of the Lenovo ThinkPad empire is one of the most ambitious and sophisticated product family any computer manufacturer has ever put on the market. And it makes sense to translate the biggest aspirations in to a product category, namely the UltraBooks, that combines ultra mobility with ultimate computing power for personal computers. That means the devices are light, sturdy, small in dimensions, with good battery life, precise with the interfaces, working in any condition, fast, responsive and, if possible, stand alone e.g. concerning mobile internet. The user therefore has one computer for any possible scenario, just like modern work environments often demand in today’s business life. That the X1 Yoga Gen 2 also looks pretty amazing is a nice additional feature that we gladly take on.
As described before, the ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 2 is an exceptional example for this kind of machine. It is powered by an Intel Mobile DualCore i7-7600U with an adaptive frequency up to 3.90 GHz as well as 16 GB of RAM memory. For fluent and responsive working and enough space for storage, a 512 GB SSD M.2 hard drive is installed. The 14 inch display has a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080. Despite this rather large screen, the entire notebook weighs only 1.42 kg and is still super sturdy. The notebook comes with fresh Windows 10 professional.
