Heart of the system are 2 x Intel Xeon Gold 16-Core 6142 processors with 16 cores, 32 threads, 22 MB SmartCache and a processor base frequency of 2.60 GHz. The processor is flanked by 128 GB of DDR4 RAM memory that can be increased to up to 1.5 TB on 24 slots if necessary. In order for graphical applications to run smoothly, the Z8 G4 workstation has installed an NVIDIA Quadro P4000 with 8GB memory. Also built in is a 1TB M.2 NVME SSD. All these components are placed into a space saving minitower.
