Heart of the system are 2 x Intel Xeon Silver 8-Core 4215R processors with 8 cores, 16 threads, 11 MB SmartCache and a processor base frequency of 3.20 GHz. The processor is flanked by 96GB of DDR4 RAM memory that can be increased to up to 1.5 TB on 24 slots if necessary. In order for graphical applications to run smoothly, the Z8 G4 workstation has installed two NVIDIA Quadro RTX A4000 with 16GB memory. Also built in is a 512GB M.2 NVME SSD in a HP Z Turbo Drive Dual Pro. All these components are placed into a space saving minitower.
