Heart of the system are 2 x Intel Xeon Platinum 28-Core 8173M processors with 28 cores, 56 threads, 38.50 MB SmartCache and a processor base frequency of 2.00 GHz. The processor is flanked by 128 GB of DDR4 RAM memory that can be increased to up to 1.5 TB on 24 slots if necessary. In order for graphical applications to run smoothly, the Z8 G4 workstation has installed a new NVIDIA Quadro RTX A4000 with 16 GB memory. Also built in is a 1TB M.2 NVME SSD. All these components are placed into a space saving minitower.
