Heart of the system are 2 x Intel Xeon Gold 18-Core 6154 processors with 18 cores, 36 threads, 24.75 MB SmartCache and a processor base frequency of 3.00 GHz. The processor is flanked by 256 GB of DDR4 RAM memory that can be increased to up to 1.5 TB on 24 slots if necessary. In order for graphical applications to run smoothly, the Z8 G4 workstation has installed an NVIDIA Quadro P6000 with 24GB VRAM memory. Also built in is a 1TB M.2 NVME SSD. All these components are placed into a space saving minitower.
