Heart of the system is the Xeon HexaCore E5-1650 v4 processor with 6 cores, 12 threads, 15 MB SmartCache and a processor base frequency of 3.60 GHz. The processor is flanked by 32 GB of DDR4 RAM memory that can be increased to up to 256 GB on eight slots if necessary. In order for graphical applications to run smoothly, the Z440 workstation has installed an new NVIDIA Quadro RTX A2000 with 6 GB memory. Also built in is a 2 x 256 GB SSD, for extremely fast reaction. All these components are placed into a space saving minitower. The casing offers 4 USB 3.0 slots in the front and the rear as well as other standard interfaces (further USB slots, audio front / rear, 2 PS2, RJ-45).
