Heart of the system is the Core i9-10980XE processor with 18 cores, 36 threads, 24.75 MB SmartCache and a processor base frequency of 3.00 GHz. The processor is flanked by 32GB of DDR4 RAM memory that can be increased to up to 128GB on eight slots if necessary. In order for graphical applications to run smoothly, the Z4 G4 workstation has installed a new NVIDIA Quadro P5000 with 16GB memory. Also built in is a new 1TB M.2 SSD for extremely fast reaction. All these components are placed into a space saving minitower.
