Heart of the system is the Core i7-8700 processor with 6 cores, 12 threads, 12 MB SmartCache and a processor base frequency of 3.20 GHz. The processor is flanked by 32 GB of DDR4 RAM memory that can be increased to up to 128 GB on four slots if necessary. In order for graphical applications to run smoothly, the Z2 G4 workstation has installed an nVIDIA Quadro P2000 with 5GB memory. Also built in is a 256 GB M.2 SSD for extremely fast reaction. All these components are placed into a space saving minitower.
